The Oliva Serie V Melanio consists of Ecuadorian-grown Sumatra and Oliva traditional Cuban-style long leaf ligeros from the Nicaraguan regions of Esteli, Condega with emphasis on the Jalapa Valley tobacco. Carefully aged, the prized Jalapa leaves achieve more unique flavor and aroma than other tobacco. The dark leaf is rich, thick, oily, and perfect in appearance.
The Serie V Melanio is full-bodied and powerful with unique touches of black pepper, yeasty sourdough bread, and dark bitter chocolate. Hints of coffee and cream and buttered toast are apparent.
