The EP Carrillo Sumatra is part of the brand’s Essence Series line, which focuses on the wrapper and its role in the smoking experience. The cigars are handmade at the Casa Carrillo factory in the Dominican Republic.Creamy, earthy, spicy, and cocoa notes along with peppery hints add character to this medium-bodied cigar’s complexity. Its red-hued Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper drapes a dual binder of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves over a filler made of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco.
