Warped Isla del Cocodrilo is a tribute to Cuba — its legendary cigar-making heritage, its natural beauty, and the unmistakable character that has made the island synonymous with premium cigars. When developing this project, Warped sought an exceptional wrapper capable of bringing an entirely new dimension to the blend. The result is a distinctive Habano Colorado wrapper, selected to add greater complexity, richness, and depth to the smoking experience. The name Isla del Cocodrilo, meaning “Island of the Crocodile,” draws inspiration from Cuba’s resemblance to the endangered Cuban crocodile, found naturally in the Zapata Swamp and on the Isle of Youth. It is a fitting homage to the island that has shaped generations of cigar craftsmanship.
Measuring 6 ½ x 54 Toro Grande, Isla del Cocodrilo delivers a medium-to-full-bodied profile with layers of deep cedar and earth, complemented by soft spice and a smooth, creamy vanilla finish. The blend builds gradually in richness while maintaining an elegant sense of balance. Its construction features an Ecuadorian Habano Colorado wrapper over a dual binder of Brazilian and Ecuadorian Habano, with a complex filler blend of Nicaraguan tobacco and Peruvian Pelo de Oro, adding natural sweetness, depth, and nuance. Handmade at Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic, this limited-production release was created exclusively for non-U.S. markets, offering a refined interpretation of the original blend. Rich, complex, and deeply rooted in Cuban inspiration — Isla del Cocodrilo is a distinctive Warped expression crafted for those who appreciate cigars with history, character, and depth.
